While hands-on experience is the best teacher, there are a few &#8220;bibles&#8221; in the industry that I believe every tech professional should have on their shelf.<\/p>\r\n<p>If you are looking to level up\u2014whether you&#8217;re prepping for an interview or aiming for a promotion\u2014these are the two resources I recommend most often.<\/p>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. For the Technical Hurdle: <i>Cracking the Coding Interview<\/i><\/h2>\r\n<p><strong><a class=\"ng-star-inserted\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https:\/\/your-affiliate-link-here.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cracking The Coding Interview(#ad)<\/a> <\/strong>is the gold standard for a reason. Not only did I use this book myself many times throughout my own career when I was on the candidate side of the table, but I have since <strong>coached countless clients to do the same.<\/strong> It is a cornerstone of the preparation strategy I use with my mentees to help them land offers at top-tier firms.<\/p>\r\n<p>What I love about it isn&#8217;t just the practice questions; it\u2019s the strategy. It teaches you how to structure your limited time during a coding session so you don&#8217;t get stuck in the weeds.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>The Winning Combo: Book + LeetCode<\/strong> This book pairs perfectly with <strong>LeetCode<\/strong> practice. While LeetCode gives you the volume of problems you need, the book gives you the <i>framework<\/i> to solve them.
