  • Led the delivery for a variety of key infrastructure projects for the Maps app ranging from the surprise Maps 15th Birthday icon refresh, latency improvements, notifications, and increased developers’ velocity.

  • Heightened my mobile app expertise by delivering an app that has 1B+ DAU

  • Authored a plan to migrate Maps 9+ year old bespoke code base onto standardized Google 1P mobile app infrastructure to increase developer velocity and platform satisfaction while decreasing carrying costs.

  • Organized a knowledge sharing summit with the YouTube Notifications team including sessions on leveraging predictive AI/ML to prevent users from disabling notifications for the app.
